Yes, Nacho's plan was complicated, but he's also a n00b. Mike is a pro. I though Hector's jacket was a blazer. Dude's a drug lord, he likes to dress up. He didn't know the AC wasn't going to be working, Nacho broke it the night before.

Please don't burden BanjoMan's almost entirely liquid brain with plot details he cannot attain. You are asking a dog to distinguish between homophones.

Hasnt been renewed yet by AMC so potentially the series finale, and it was an excellent one.

How could it not be renewed yet? Is it not getting good ratings? The show is incredible.

yeah, would think it would have to be renewed. on the Talking Saul show that came on afterwards, they talked about Jimmy getting closer and closer to Saul, and how they'll have to explain what happens to Kim, and said something like "It may not be pretty", or something like that.

I saw some speculation that the electric "device" that Chuck couldn't find could end up being some kind of sprinkler system. And apparently, the show hasn't been renewed yet. I heard ratings were down, but I have loved this season.

They renewed The Son, Turn, and Halt and Catch Fire, so I don't see why they wouldn't renew Saul. At least for one more season.

It ended with a ton of relatable take home messages.

There's speculation that if AMC doesnt renew it will be quickly picked up by Netflix or Amazon. Whatever happens, Im sure the story will continue somehow.

Anyways this season definitely ended by giving us a lot to think about. The direction that they took with Kim's character was a bit surprising. It is nice to have something to think about.

BanjoMan is doing that thing where you talk vaguely about something you don't understand to fit in.

How about you think about this.

Me stating that you are a nice dude, and then following it up with the only thing that I know about you, that you went to the same school as my favorite ball player, is me saying that I give zero fucks.

Then you realize it is a haiku, for the "how bout them apples" conclusion.

I hate spelling stuff out for people, because I don't want to come off as being a bit pedantic, but in this case I thought that it was required.

^^i can get annoyed with banjo's posts but this page was pretty vanilla.

Also in the last 2 pages, you've had 3 posts about him and 1 that was ALMOST about the show. Giving off a weird stalker vibe....

But anyway, is Chuck def dead or are we meant to think it's a cliffhanger?

Seems like Kims downfall may be bouncing from workaholic to being afraid to do anything.

Also the retirees are NOT taking the settlement now, right?

What is surprising to me about Kim's downfall is that last last season as well as the beginning of this one was that she was starting her own firm and finally doing what she wanted. At the end, however, it was about her realizing that she was never going to fulfill her dreams of fighting the good deed, and risking working herself to death for a cause that she does not believe in any more.

They just seem like two conflicting story lines.

Have you ever worked really hard to get something you thought you wanted, only to realize it's not really what you want?

It isn't a conflict to have goals change over time. Remember, at one point Kim was hoping to become a partner at HHM.

I wonder if she is going to get addicted to "the good stuff."

I don't think it is so much that they aren't taking it, but that they are going to let the lawyer continue fighting for more money and delaying the settlement.

Yeah, but she is still in the same field, and she only got the itch to leave HHM after they screwed her over with the basement duty. I still think that the conclusion that she was suddenly unhappy with her current way of life was a bit rushed. I mean, she had never mentioned it before, and by all means was a very motivated, driven, and hardworking person.

If anything, I thought that the logical turn would be her blaming Jimmy for this mess because of the extra load that she had to bear, followed by her leaving him and getting a whole new outfit/image with him not in it.

I believe it implies Chuck is dead, but still a bit vague

My feeling is we saw the Breaking Bad universe from a pretty limited perspective. We were almost entirely with Walt. Everybody always assumes, “Oh, they must be dead.” In many circumstances, yes, but not in every circumstance. You just have to think about the point of view we saw that word from. There are other places people can be."

Enjoyed it but I feel it was kind of dumb for Nacho to throw the pills off a bridge out in the open instead of throwing them out the window just driving down the road. /minor gripe

^I binge-watched the first 3 seasons on Netflix...watching one episode a week is going to be tough since it can be slow-developing across episodes. I’m hoping I can get a few weeks behind on DVR but idk if I’ll be able to resist keeping up

I thought it was fine as well, gotta have him get over the Chuck stuff. They don't have to blow open the whole season in the first episode. Agreed though that Nacho's disposal of the pills was dumb.
