Do we know how many more Americans (or Westerners for that matter) they have?

They're threatening to kill more if we continue to fight them.

It seems Europe (and others I guess) negotiate for their release from time to time. Obviously we don't.

Negotiating won't stop them. Pulling out won't stop them. Staying in won't stop them. Had they shot him, i'd be like ok, but a beheading is so harsh and enraging.

They need some bombs put on them ASAP.

Agreed, the only strategy we should have it baiting them out in the open so we can take out more of them with less rockets. The atrocities they were committing were despicable before they beheaded an american journalist...also there is not proof when that video was made, the man could have been dead for months.

Absolutely. That dog is there because he followed a person. He had no agenda.

As much as it pisses me off that they beheaded him, The journalist clearly had an agenda being there.

All of those guys want to "show the world" something or other. I don't need a picture of another burned out building to know there is war in the middle east. Him being there was about furthering his own career.

I have not made the decision traveled to Syria or Iraq. I still have my head attached.

This guy chose to go over there. Now he's sans head.

Why is it such a big deal when an American gets his had cut off, but not the children that live in Iraq that didn't have that choice of where to travel?
