y'all had Mr. Wonderful's? It's pretty good; their waffles aren't as good as Dame's, but a lot of that it's because they don't do the glazes/schmears. They do have a really extensive menu.

first time i had chicken and waffles in a restaurant was at Gladys and Ron's Chicken and Waffles in Atlanta. It's definitely not a pure southern food, but it's damn good eats.

^Same here, before the game at GT last year...was fantastic.

Been to Mr Wonderfuls...chicken is fantastic, waffle is somewhat "meh" though (the waffle itself, not just because of the lack of schmears). More options for sides though. Price definitely wins over Dames easily...plus the first time I went, as we were about to leave, waitressl says they had some "extra" and gives us a to go box with two thighs and a waffle...cant beat that.
