Saw this on the plane the other day. Definitely worst of the 3 imo. Got too lame with all the deconsecrated, ajudicator, and all that other mumbo jumbo. And some of the action scenes were too much. Enough people died to constitute a small town. It was just over and over and over. 10 minutes straight a few separate times of just shot after shot after shot.

1 was good, 2 was ok, 3 was tiresome

I bet in 4 he probably has another ticket, in some other secret hiding place, and another medallion that someone owes him a favor etc

^while i do agree that 3 felt like the worst...i still enjoyed it. I did feel like you could really see keanus age a little more in this one than i remember in 1 and 2. The way he was moving in some of the action scenes just looked like a man his age

I thought it was better than 2. The first is still the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed 3. The scene with the attack dogs was great.

Could somebody explain the pistol reconstruction scene that took place early in this film? I have asked other people with firearm experience, and they said that what he did makes no sense. They would have just quickly located a gun in the case that would have been able to fire a bullet.

^Scene reminded me of The good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Except it looked liked he needed to create a gun that could shoot the bullet size he had?

What I don't understand is, if he found a cylinder that the bullet fit into, then why not use that gun to shoot the bullet? Why did he have to fit that to a different receiver and then shoot it?

There's no guarantee that any of those individual firearms would even fire in their condition, let alone fire without jamming. He checks each component as he's assembling to make sure the weapon will fire.

That is one explanation. But... if he knew in advance that they prolly wouldn't fire and that he'd have to construct a gun out of parts, then why try to put a bullet in the chamber in the first place?

Another likely explanation that I have seen is that since it is an antique shop, a lot of those guns were prolly modified so that they wouldn't fire. That is apparently very common in antique shops.

However, I think that the most likely explanation is that they wanted to film a nod to Tuco.
