Ok. Jay Garrick isn't Jay Garrick. But for the love of Mike, please bring back the Golden Age Jay Garrick. I'm pretty certain Hunter's story about the past version isn't true, cause he seemed pretty confused when he killed Jay Garrick (?). He didn't say "that went according to plan" after he killed him.

Also, good gravy, how hard would it have been to poison Zoom during the speed force transfer?

I'm really hoping the show's promise of "it's gonna be awesome when we explain everything out" is great.

Also, it's kind of obvious that Barry visited Supergirl's universe in the split second he went through the portal at the beginning, but he just kinda shrugged it off with "how long have I been gone?" Did he forget his visit? As a scientist, he would have been all about explaining what happened to his peeps instead of forcing Vibe to figure out how to go through Earths instead.

^agreed, a lot of stuff was not well handled in this last episode, especially shrugging off going to super girls earth while they are in the middle of trying to figure out a way to get to earth 2. I didn't care for the explanation of killing the past version either. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like the identity of the man in the iron mask is going to be a let down, especially after Zoom's hype of "you wouldn't believe me if I told you"

Hunter Zoloman on Earth 1 = A regular guy with no powers or anything special about him?

Hunter Zoloman on Earth 2 = Jay Garrick that has been hanging out all season = Zoom?

But I thought we saw Jay Garrick in his Flash attire literally fighting Zoom? Isn't that how his helmet originally got thrown through the portal? Hadn't we seen Jay Garrick with the crew at the same time as Barry fighting with Zoom? I know he's fast but there would be blue lighting and stuff flying all over the place if he were running back and forth? And why was his dad wearing an Earth 2 Flash costume when he killed his mother?

Ah, you're right. The helmet threw me off. You gotta admit, what he was wearing looks a lot like Earth 2 Flash's costume though. I guess that was his inspiration. Still seems kind of a stretch that the whole reason that Earth 2 Zolomon created his version of the Flash was to "give people hope".

How was Black Canary even able to do anything to the Flash? All of her attacks travel at the speed of sound. He can run like three times the speed of sound. He literally has an attack called the Mach Punch. As soon as she screamed at him he could have outran her sound waves, ran behind her, and smacked her in the back of the head before she even knew he was gone. Even if she had super fast reflexes, there is no possible way her sonic attacks could have touched him.

Also, I get that they wanted to show that Cisco has more power that he hasn't "unlocked" yet when him and Caitlyn were stalling Black Canary but -- in the time it took for them to find their costumes, get dressed, and get over to the building she was at -- wouldn't it have been faster for Barry to just run around the city to make the frequency shield thing and have them turn it on? It took like 30 seconds max for them to deploy the thing.

I'm liking this season a lot but some sloppy writing in last night's episode.

Henry mentioned his mother's maiden name was Garrick. I'm thinking Earth 2 Henry Allen will actually be called Jay Garrick and that he's the man in the iron mask. Probably fought on the opposite side of Hunter's dad in the same war which is why he will have the red suit as opposed to Hunter's dad's black one.

Good finale and they totally set up the flashpoint paradox storyline for next season. But I wonder how they'll do that considering basically the whole world is different and you've got Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow affected by what the Flash just did. Not to mention Supergirl being on CW now may change what they originally had planned. They already announced a four night crossover coming in December too so that should be interesting.

As a guy who grew up on Wally being the Flash (and I still think Barry should be dead because of that,) I have no idea what Flashpoint is, so I'm down for whatever. What little I've seen of Arrow (due to the crossovers,) I hate the notion of a show filled with people with the same exact talents. As much as I liked the Wells and daughter characters, I was ok seeing them go away at the end. I don't think I missed anything, but Dr. Light 2 (as I know her from JL 90's comics) is still out there, right?

As everyone says, a Green Lantern arc would be great, but I dunno if it would ever happen. Maybe Jon Stewart (my fave earth GL) if everything is tied up with Hal is possible. Hell, I'd love some fucked up G'Nort shit if they could do it right. Fun comics are fun.

I wish they spent more time exploring the Flashpoint Universe. Not just on the Flash, but on the other CW shows too. It felt kind of rushed putting it all in one ep. It will be interesting to see how the repercussions play out though.

I'm trying to figure out what was so bad about the flashpoint for flash, yeah Wally was stabbed but take that guy to a hospital, even if he didn't have accelerated healing the pole missed his vital organs. The only diagnosis you had was from an eye doctor.

The problems were that his memories were fading away (and towards the end, it looked like his powers were starting to go, too.) Also nice to see the Captain was Alex Desert (who was Barry's co lab-scientist in the 90s Flash) in the mix.
