That's not what he said. His point is that an Ebola outbreak in let's say Central America would lead to panicked citizens crossing the border into the United States to escape it.Theoretically pwting the US.

Weren't those exact words posted by someone on the whitehouse website? That an ebola outbreak in latin america could result in mass migration over the borders, flooding our hospital systems and resulting in thousands of deaths?

i'll vote for tills simply because I prefer the legislative branch and the exec to be separate. right now congress can't pass anything if both houses were the same they might. no one wants both branches under one party as well either because they won't pass anything then either because the party in power is afraid of the repercussions when something sucks it up

you think it's functioning now? my whole argument is that it WOULD function. clinton did nothing with Gingrich, regan had a democratic congress. Obama has both houses and didn't get an immigration bill or same sex marriage laws passed why? maybe it was because they were too scared or maybe it was because they want to be able to use it and same sex marriage as a political weapon?
