Put No Trespassing Signs all around his driveway, yellow caution tape across it and rope, and turned all his lights off when usually they leave every light in the house on.

Left a bowl on mailbox and a sign that says please take only one treat each.

Also had a semi deliver like 8 HUGE evergreen trees today to plant along his property line with his new neighbor that is building a house.

I was pissed this year because it started so damn early in my neighborhood. 5:45 out in force, it was a bitch for anyone to get home from work. I did the responsible thing and putted along at 5mph, dodging asshole parents who refused to get out of the middle of the road.

We went trick-or-treating last night to my parent's neighborhood. Every house has really long driveways uphill. One house put out a candy bowl at the bottom of their driveway.

My kid was the only kid that went trick-or-treating down that street.

Meanwhile, we put out a bowl of candy on our front porch (our first Halloween in our new house) and apparently we got 40-50 kids


My bowl was wiped out when we got home at 8:15p

Seems excessively paranoid to put tape and trespassing signs up just to stop trick or treaters. Just don't turn your light on if you don't want people coming.
