Graphics look great.

Not a fan of the frostbite engine at all though
Sluggish/bouncy + input delay, not good for FPS at all. At least the frames per second will be sufficient on new consoles (compared to BF3 on 360).

yep, once i read that i was out. my computer cost about 400 bucks 8 years ago. i updated it with 100 bucks worth of stuff 2-3 years ago. it still works fine for most games i play...but this shit right here. it would cost a minimum of about 400 bucks to get to those min specs.

I want to see how it uses 8 and 16 bits of memory. Highly doubt it uses that much. As far as processor, unless its multicore (few games still are) processor will only use base speed.

Vid card is only graphics quality. Any semi modern card will be ok for the basics. Looks like the big thing is 2GB vid card memory.

I really wanna see multiplayer on 512k. Thats gonna be a joke. Try like 25mb.

If I really loved Star Wars, then I would have to buy it. The graphics and sound are great. It is a beta, so obviously there will be more depth once all of the maps/game modes are available, but it still seems just a little meh to me. It's certainly not horrible by any means though, and I will probably play the beta some more this weekend.

Im a bit disappointed in this one honestly.... and one of the few that doesnt think its enough like Battlefield. The biggest problem this game has....

YOU CAN'T GO FUCKING PRONE MAN! wtf.

All I want to do is go prone in the hoth level in the tight imperial trooper snow gear, and you can't. Shit sucks. Also, the timer on AT-AT is the biggest fucking let down of them all. I wanted to terrorize the map all game in that thing, instead you get like 30 seconds in it. LAME.

From the few matches I've played it's really fun. Still I don't know whether I'll buy this at full price.

Back when I was in college I could play Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Battlefield, Halo etc. multiplayer for hours at a time. Now, I can play 3 or 4 matches of a multiplayer shooter and have a great time, but then I'm pretty much done with it for a while.

Lol finally got a chance to play and got non stop spawn killed as rebels. First game was 3 kills and 23 deaths. Finally got away from the imperials and found a snowspeeder but the second I picked it up I was sniped from across the field.

I wish they had put a regular deathmatch mode in the beta - like a first team to 200 or something.

I definitely disagree with this. Battlefield, to me and in my personal experience, is full of giant maps where players just constantly try to out flank the other or blow through the other team with vehicles. pockets of areas in the map which are full of action then are overridden by spawns.

to be fair I'm not saying this game is bad or they are doing it wrong but this game is battlefield with lasers in my opinion. not to mention the entire upgrade/rank/scoreboard system being really similar.

in close combat you can play with a squad and use strategy, this is just running around COD style in close combat

Maybe it is just the "hoth" thing but this doesn't seem "strategic" at all. Just complete chaos, while fun, no incentive to keep playing/learn how to play. Didn't seem like any upgrades/customization was available.

It is essentially re-skinned Battlefield with more run and gun chaos. At least the Xbone can run it well enough, I had no issues with framerate or sluggish controls.

Huh? You can unlock additional rifles and secondary "things" (sniper rifles, rocket boost pack, thermal detonators, etc). There is supposed to be more customization in the full game but this is just beta so understandable.

I do agree that it is complete chaos though. It seems like in order for the Rebel Alliance to win, legit teamwork and strategy must be employed. When playing with complete strangers online though, this is impossible as everyone is just running around trying to grab vehicle powerups and treat it like team deathmatch. The Empire can actually play like it is TDM and get by perfectly fine.
