Most new immigrants, paradoxically, are Asian now. The Latino immigration rate has dropped, and even though we share a land border, there are more people coming from Asia.

Another interesting note is that most Latinos aren't immigrants in the U.S., They are native born Americans . When you see that Hispanic-looking person, it's no longer valid to assume they're here illegally or that they are even an immigrant.

He is setting a trap for them for the next General Election, which they are walking right in to.

The next GOP presidential candidate can not just get away with saying we need to pass immigration reform, they are going to have to answer if they will roll back the executive actions, which is like "self deportation" 2.0 if they answer that question wrong. The Latino voters will turn out for the Dems if its that dire of a decision that effects their friends and family.

I don't think you pay close enough attention. This argument gets about as equal amount importance as the "moral" argument for letting any immigrant in. Most studies in academia say that immigrants are net positive to the economy. Most arguments from Republicans that aren't farm owners say it's a net negative because of welfare related reasons.
