I just got 4 new tires on Saturday because the front ones were at the treadwear indicator, and one of the rears went flat last week-it had steel belt showing on the inside tread, and the outside tread was barely at the treadwear indicator. The other rear tire was similar to the fronts. I asked for an alignment, and they (Just Tires) said they could do the front, but the back required some special part and a few hours' labor. Is this B.S. or do I really need to have it done? I had the last set of tires for over 3 years with no issues, even had them rotated every ~7k miles.

You can keep up what you did lat year if you want.
The rear needs a shim kit, which is a lot more work than adjusting a few bolts/joints. The parts are fairly cheap, but labor is involved. 11/24/2014 6:50:18 PM |
