^^^^There was no need to riot because the black person got off and the white people were proven to be racist.

White people don't have any reason to think oj got off bc the system is set up against them.

Black people have hundreds of years of history to make them think that.

In a sick way, oj was proof of movement towards racial equality. "oh hey a rich black person can get away with the same stuff as a rich white person!"

^^
maybe they just don't give a flying fuck

sometimes I say "I ain't got nothing" or similarly ungrammatical things. I don't care, if it sounds all right in context.

i don't mind me either

but i don't think most people know why "should of" is wrong.

I'm okay with try and, and somehow I feel like should of is comparable. I agree it's worse than me either.

although try and is verb conjunction, which is maybe somehow worse than verb preposition.

you KNOW that "I ain't got nothing" is wrong.

most people who say "should of" and "me either" do NOT know those constructions are wrong. i get a baffled look/comment every time i tell people those are wrong.

Okay. I'm sort of unclear, though, on why it matters whether I know I'm using bad grammar or not.

However, certain writing-mistakes (your/you're, their/there, omission of apostrophes), irritate the hell out of me, with no better cause. So I feel you. My pet peeves are just different.

Just because Opie didn't learn regional vernacular when he studied English at the Silk Boxer Olfactory Academy, he still wants to correct people on his non-native tongue.

The OJ case was more of a "rich/famous guy can get away with murder" thing than a race thing.

OJ didn't kill his ex wife because she was white. And he didn't get off because he was black. So why would there be a race riot? I don't remember a riot after the white OJ (Zimmerman & Casey Anthony) got off.

How old are you?

Do you not remember how the likes of Jackson and Sharpton made it into a race thing? I remember crowds gathered around just waiting on the verdict, and people at the time were fearful of riots. And by people I mean CNN and the like.

Yes and those fears of riots where about blacks not whites. Whites only flip out over dumbshit, like sports.
