Everyone knows its not terrorism in todays america if its a white cause or a white lone wolf.

Black person attacks disgruntled coworkers and its terror.

White person attacks the government and its a "shooting incident"

it won't get much play because there's no victims to cry and wring your hands over, nor is there any other angle to play. A crazy guy goes and shoots at unoccupied buildings, because, well, he was crazy. Also, I don't know that I would say it went "unnoticed" if the major networks are reporting it AND I see it as "trending" on my Facebook feed. It's just that, in the context of other shootings and news events, it's not very notable. Frankly, this is how we should treat damned near all shootings: "it happened, here's the info, let's move along".
