24th-28th then 31st-4th

but i think i'll be the only one in the office on the 29th and 30th so those days will be pretty lax.

12/24, 12/25, and 1/1. Those are the only days we have off. I'm taking a few vacation days thought to give myself about a week off over Christmas. I think I'll be out 12/23-12/29. But this time of year is pretty slow anyways. So it'll mostly be boredom when I am in the office.

12/24-12/29 and 1/1. That little bit of time before new years is so I can handle the fires that will undoubtedly come up from our customers and will require IMMEDIATE ATTENTION! (Everything's always on fire, except for the customers.)

I've also found that taking a big, long break off of work just leads to me doing nothing by the third day for the rest of the vacation. Once I get back to work I've forgotten how to do my job. Shorter break should be just enough to enjoy the break.

Wife's out of PTO for the year, so we're only doing the given Holiday's off. At least they include New Year's eve as a Holiday.

company holidays.... 12/25 & 1/1.

what will actually happen is half day on 12/24, and mandatory 'burn a vacation day' on 12/26.

I work from home, and am not taking any time off mainly because my wife didn't get any time off.

But, i expect that the weeks of christmas and new years, i will put in around 20 hours of work cumulatively.

usually as long as I want/can afford to take depending on my work load. I've done 3 full weeks, but usually 1-2. This year it's probably just going to be 24th-28th and then 31st-4th due to my project.

I have had the whole two weeks off for the last five years.

This year unfortunately the bosses boss wants somebody here every day that the university is not closed. Since we have no new hires, everybody wants it off, so sadly all of us have to pull one day during the two weeks. I am working the 29th, but otherwise will be off work after the 19th until the 5th.

I get out two hours early Christmas Eve, have Christmas off. I'll work from home the day after Christmas.

two hours early NYE, NYD off. I'll probably work from home the day after NYD also.

I've got some PTO I could use to supplement it but I'd rather be in the office when nobody is here and use the PTO at another time.

I'm taking a week off, but I'll work from the in-laws house in Connecticut while eating and drinking my face off. I'll work some during New Years week, but we have some friends in town that we'll be entertaining on 1/1 and 1/2...so no work on those days either.

I'm working 2.5 days between the 23rd and the 5th. And only having to take one day vacation to get that - my company has pretty good leave scheduling.

Also, can't wait to cash in on 30 days of paid paternity leave in the spring with baby #2.

We get Dec 24-26 so I'm not taking any days. We also get New Year's Day off and I'm taking the 31st and the 2nd.

Office is closed 12/25 and 1/1. I was supposed to be on call the week of christmas but they forgot I'm taking the whole week off and we are going to Disney.
