shell is great..didnt take any pics bc it was so dirty
better than my sr car

dash is perfect, has interior carpet, radio..the car is almost stock other than the swap

has over 100k miles less on the chassis than the sr car

[Edited on December 18, 2014 at 8:57 PM. Reason : ill wash it and take pics in the next few days]

With what? I'm not sure where my experience might come in handy, but I'll be around this weekend if you need a second set of hands.

^^that thing is immaculate

as of right now I need:
a battery and associated wiring to relocate it to the trunk
o2 sensor
need v band welded to turbine outlet flange (need to get a v band but i have the flange)
have to make turbo elbow/downpipe
need to get a dump pipe for the wastegate
probably should empty old fuel from the tank, guess id need to drop the tank for that
theres probably other stuff I am forgetting
..its going to take a bit of work to get it running but the noise it makes will be well worth it

put fuel line into bucket

install battery

prime fuel pump over and over until empty

------
however, it would be a good idea to pull the fuel pump just to make sure the tank looks nice and clean inside. Hopefully the pump's already been upgraded

I'll come over and drink beer while I watch you work. Does that count?

[Edited on January 11, 2015 at 5:17 AM. Reason : I'll hold a wrench or two on the 'b' side]

those studs look like they're really fun to deal with

Those studs were only finger tight. I removed them and cut them down and they are the right length now. Got the downpipe modified and mounted. Connected vacuum lines and filled with fluids. I still need to check the tank to see how bad it looks, wire in a sohc dash plug, find a dipstick that fits, boost/vac gauge
Think that's it

yes a gasket will be used
pic was just showing the finished t3 to vband flange

i finished the downpipe but the welds look like complete shit..this flux core welder burns through thin stuff so easy
but its done and has no holes and it fits..

just need to wire in a new dash plug and i think it will be ready to start

dude that's stainless and you did it with flux core?

I mean given the circumstances doesn't look that bad...

I did mention i have a tig and could do the full blown 308 filler wire with pure argon & purge the inside thing on it right?

^^thanks for the tip , didn't think of that

^yeah its stainless with flux core
I didn't realize you had a tig setup, or maybe I forgot that you said that

When the flange got here I just got impatient and started cutting and welding the pipe since I had a friend there to help. I probably should have waited till I had someone with the right equipment/skills
If you ever have free time and wanna weld some stuff hit me up. I'd like to learn more about mig and tig, I've only used this flux core welder.

Here's one of the welds on the bash bar that came out ok

finished vacuum lines
wired a s13 dash plug in place of the s14 plug
drained the fuel tank
rewired maf
tried cranking it last night and got nothing...ill have to start testing with the multimeter to figure out wtf is wrong.nothing from the fuel pump or anything, ecu is powering on though.
