^^^ Lol, "and Lost is a TV show"... I thought she would try to debunk it by explaining why such a thing can't be possible (like she debunked the black hole and Bermuda Triangle theories), but she simply debunked it by saying it is a TV show... awesome!

^^ wat? Who are you quoting, what's the point of quoting the country's name?

^^^ ah, i get it... i thought this thread was about the flight that went missing earlier in the year. i see now that an Air Asia flight has gone missing just yesterday (as opposed to Air Malaysia earlier in the year), and that it is also a Malaysian airline

"The search for missing AirAsia Flight QZ 8501 has been halted for the night, but big ships won't return to shore and will leave their searchlights on, according to the Indonesian Transportation Ministry.

The jet carrying 162 people lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control early Sunday over the Java Sea, gripping Southeast Asia with a second missing plane crisis in less than a year.

Before communication was lost, the captain asked permission to climb to a higher altitude because of bad weather, officials said."

^Its not like the us ever had a problem with multiple planes coming down in a short amount of time.

I wonder if hackers have figured out how to take planes now and simultaneously blind air traffic control of the planes whereabouts. Seems pretty simple compaeed to some of the other shit hackeds have pulled off.

What does stategrad100 believe is happening with all these planes going cold dark and quiet in such a short period of time?

NK Hijacking but the international community doesn't want to go to war over it. They did it before.

There is so much wrong with her "even a small black hole" comment that I didn't know where to begin.....
before you know it, the Fat Dumb Housewives of America club will start calling into CNN thinking that they've discovered a "small black hole" in their kitchens while they were sitting on the couch, and the CNN rep will have to tell them, "No ma'am, it's just your fat ass watching Nancy Grace again, not another small-to-medium-size black hole."

How else can you explain two planes vanishing? Dont say weather because if weather brings down a plane or error causes a crash, everyone can immediately locate the planes location. This is foul play.

Planes sink but you can always determine where they hit the water. This plane went missing in shallow waters. Also pilots are trained to give mayday calls.

Planes are made to not break at the cockpit so that is a stretch excuse. Aldo, whats the excuse for not having a beacon from the black box or the data recorder. The excuse last time was that it was in deep, isolated waters but this time its in shallow, populated waters so the same excuses wont work. Find some evidence and ill admit i was wrong. If the plane broke up so violently you should at least find an air mall mag or something.

Plane debris found off Kaplan. The plane must have then hit the atrium because it is on fire. Dell Dude was arrested after lighting a joint with said flames. This will definitely cause Dat Tuition to go up.

My theory is some sort of foul play but theres not enough information for anyone to say what happened. Saying it crashed because of the storm is preposterous.

Storms havent caused planes to just vanish. Not in modern times.

Storms usually don't have a direct impact b/c most commercial flights deviate around strong cells. This reminds me a lot of the Air France 447 incident several years back in which icing of a pitot tube lead to a faulty airspeed indication and essentially the plane stalled out of the air from cruising altitude. It's usually a chain of bad events that causes something like this, but to say a storm can't cause a plane to vanish isn't exactly true.

With air france they found bodies and debris pretty quickly. Were not there yet, but if more days go by and no wreckage is found like mh370, im not gonna accept the stormy crash theory.

Of course the easiest answer is what everyones going with but thats a logical leap of faith.

I wont believe the plane is anywhere until theres evidence suggesting it is somewhere.

What about if they just manufactured the planes in a broken state?
then they could never break.

Or a breaker panel so that when the plane breaks they can go flip a switch.
