Started tonight, suprised with all the Marvel fans on here theres not a thread yet.
You cant beat that red hat.
I do like that they are keeping all the sets and scenes in time period. Havnt seen any good 40's shows lately. 1/6/2015 8:20:55 PM |

^^Agreed, good show.
Agent Carter is pretty cheesy, but its shot in the noir style so par for the course. 1/6/2015 10:38:50 PM |

Good clip on how they are doing SFX on the show, that are normally only done for blockbuster movies. 2/19/2015 12:42:34 PM |

This show is really good, and it seems like it's getting better every week. I think 8 episodes really helps make the show.
I mean there's a little romantic tension between some character, but there's no time for some bullshit "will they or won't they" subplot so they just leave it out. And when it's time for said romantic tension to be over they can sideline it with no drama or wetworks.
Hope they renew it. Tweet from the creator is hopeful.

Saw the first episode last night.
Is there any connection between Mr. Jarvis in this show and Stark's Jarvis of the Iron Man movies? They sound very alike.
Edit: At least there is no voice correlation. Jarvis in the movies is voiced by Paul Bettany.

In the comics Jarvis was Iron Man's human butler who basically ran the day to day operations of Avengers Mansion. In the MCU obviously it's his AI assistant, so they probably created this Jarvis as an homage to the comics and to serve as an inspiration for the AI (tony probably created the AI's name, voice, and personality based on the guy he probably saw more than his father as a child)

I'm actually really like this show.
To me, the most interesting part is the social aspect. You don't see many shows that take place just after the war ended, when most men on the street are veterans. It is interesting how they kind of use their experiences to one-up the other. We will probably never see that number of veterans from the same conflict interacting together again. 3/11/2015 9:51:04 AM |

And while it isn't directly working with the current MCU, it gives you some background for the developments that have happened. At the end of the first season, we see how Zola learned how to be so persuasive.
I bet we'll eventually find out that the Black Widow was part of the Leviathan program. 5/10/2015 10:31:49 AM |

Season 2 had a wonky story line and the villain's motivation wasn't super deep, but the production value was great and there's much more of Agent Sousa, who is a great character. I wish there was more Howard Stark, but Jarvis is great.
It was announced a couple of days ago that ABC is canceling the show The "Most Wanted" spin-off from Agents of Shield was also dropped, so that means no Marvel gap show during the AoS winter hiatus anymore.
Maybe Netflix will pick it up? 5/15/2016 3:44:06 PM |
