Macy's is the worst. But not a bad exchange if someone was interested in something like bedding or other home goods.

Yeah, they have TONS of stuff, including decently priced furniture. But we just would rather have cash for other things.

I might also trade some amounts for a very new Roomba, or a City Mini GT baby stroller...

^^The Macy's here in Charlotte have just gone to shit. They've dropped down to JCP level of quality in terms of clothing, employees, and presentation. The traditional brands are mostly outdated and low stock, they carry a lot more urban style (not a bad thing, just stating a fact), stores are messy and unorganized, and the shoe departments are little more than a few tables of generic black square toes.

Here the Belk stores are top quality, as are the Dillards (awesome shoe selection) and have stepped up their game to compete with the Nordstroms of the world.

If they sell gift cards in the Macys store for things like Amazon, Itunes, etc. you can just buy $500 worth of Amazon cards, go home and buy what you want online.

Already checked on the gift card thing. They dont.

I found a site that will let me trade for $420 worth of Amazon gift cards. Probably going that route unless someone has a better idea.

Not sure if you shop at walmart, but they'll give u $430 on one of their cards for it.
