NC insurance rates are regulated by our gubment, therefore we get less bullshit marketing promos, and generally lower rates. 1/23/2015 1:02:18 PM

Tell that to the assholes that just made my rate skyrocket when nothing on my record has changed...it's clean.
I'm getting other quotes that are all fairly close, too. what the shit? 1/23/2015 1:10:49 PM

As in, get a 30 minute easy driving sample, keep it powered, and yank the fucker out of the car. Total insurance fraud.

You should check out Metlife. Since I've been in Raleigh, since 98, I've gone from Nationwide > Progressive > Metlife, and I like them the best.
There's a broker in Raleigh that's really good. Guy that runs the place called me after some pretty bad storms (we also have homeowners with Metlife) and asked if there were any claims we needed to file.
I realize this is probably like realtors, everybody knows a good one, but if you want the office info just shoot me a pm. Pretty sure there are no referral discounts or bonuses or anything. 1/23/2015 1:46:41 PM

I have statefarm, and maybe it's just my agent in particular but i am VERY happy with the customer service I get. I had a lady hit me, and then the rental company charged me instead of her for the rental and he raged total war on both of them and all my shit got fixed and refunded with a quickness.
so idk if my rate is higher than other people's but honestly I'm happy paying what I pay for how good the service is. 1/23/2015 4:24:02 PM

There's really no reason to not get price quotes from other companies every time your policy is approaching it's renewal rate. Insurance companies have no loyalty to you and will routinely increase the premiums every period regardless of what you have or haven't done. 1/23/2015 6:45:10 PM
