So I updated to the new Macbook Yosemite 10.10.2 on Thursday and it took like an hour and a half to install and then restart my computer. When it finally rebooted I entered my password to log in and it froze up again, the spin wheel came up and it never logged in.

I tried to restore to my last time machine back up and it did the same thing when I tried to log in. I was finally able to log back into my computer after restoring to a time machine backup from December.

I'm now hesitant to update anything on my computer, especially the OS. Anyone have any recommendations for this? I tried searching online, doesn't seem like anyone else has had any issues getting 10.10.2 installed and working fine on their computer.
