sure, the "republican" comment may be unwarranted at this point, but i do think it's safe to say that another nut-job with a gun killed three people who didn't deserve to die.

And I don't recall reading one comment about anybody being "gleeful" about Dean Smith's death... i did see people wondering about the inundation of media coverage, questioning his "sainthood", and commenting on his participation/development of the who AFAM scandal. But nobody was "gleeful".
