Post in here when conservatives do stuff that makes you scratch your head.

Quote :
"US Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) this week filed legislation she calls the "Internet Freedom Act" to overturn the Federal Communications Commission's new network neutrality rules."

"In the latest election cycle, Blackburn received $25,000 from an AT&T political action committee (PAC), $20,000 from a Comcast PAC, $20,000 from a cable industry association PAC, and $15,000 from a Verizon PAC, according to the Center for Responsive Politics."

You act like those kinds of donations don't come into Democratic coffers as well. I wonder how much money Dem senators got from insurance companies when debate about the ACA was taking place.

I'm not talking about the legislation here, I'm talking about the sleazy "donations" that go on behind the scenes.

I don't defend everything they do. I think what the Republicans in NC have done thus far to this state has been pretty shitty.

I think Ted Cruz and his ilk are going to cost the Republicans another election, and the Tea Party just needs to go away.

But I'm still a partisan hack because I think Obama is a crappy president. Ok.

I'm not sure about the guv'na, but I plan on seeing if I can somehow get the voting record from my district, then making the decision based on that.

Why do I need to defend that? That makes perfect sense to me. Don't say anything that can be misconstrued in email, duh. I point out that one Republican rep is introducing a bill that will hurt everyone that uses the internet and your response is some nonsense about email privacy....

Also pointed out a REPUBLICAN saying that the answer to homelessness is to let wolves eat the homeless.

Defend this, stupid fucker wants to make laws based on his belief in god. How can this uppity negro sit there and say gays shouldn't be married, when just 65 years ago his black ass would of been sitting at the back of the bus, on his way to eat at the back door, and drink out of the colored fountain.

Democrats attempted to punish parents if their college aged, adult, offspring voted at college instead of at home with them? Democrats removed a polling location from campus because students are mostly democrats? Democrats cut up maps to attempt to ensure themselves easier victories? Shut up

Quote :
"Republican senator and presidential maybe-hopeful Lindsey Graham stopped by the "politics and pies" forum in Concord, New Hampshire, today, where he announced that if he is elected president in 2016, his first act will be to deploy the military in Washington to force Congress to reverse cuts to the defense and intelligence budgets."

RETARDS, so if this one is made president his first act would be turning himself into a dictator and using the military to force congress to do what he says. Ok Hail Hitler

^^ That title implies the GOP has credibility, which it doesn't. I'm counting the days until the GOP is just a bad memory.

Democrats have definitely been playing with districts for a long time in NC. Republicans have complained about it for years, many of the complains were justified, so now instead of fixing the problem they just decided to do the same thing.

I'm not sure how or why anyone would defend that.

So a bill just passed the Oklahoma house that says only Christians and Jews are allowed to perform marriages, without government intervention. Atheists, Muslims, and everyone else have to file another form with the government.

I can't see the bill passing a court challenge, and hopefully doesn't pass the state senate.

The bill doesn't and can't block same sex marriage.

The bill essentially does nothing, except makes republicans look like the backwards religious idiots that their politicians are.

Jews and Muslims are both <.5% of the Oklahoma population, but only Rabbis are allowed to religiously avow a marriage between them. There are more buddhists than Jews or Muslims. It's unclear whether Mormons would be allowed to have their priests sign marriage certs.

Republicans in Oklahoma are no different than the Jihadists in ISIS that want to see laws be written based on an extremists reading of their religious texts. I don't see why anyone keeps voting for them.

Probably the worse things democrats want is more gun laws, but I would gladly trade some gun regulations to have freedom from region, and not have an apocalyptic cult running the country.

Yes it does, the church will say "We won't do a same sex marriage".

Its similar to the tactics southern republicans used to "outlaw" abortions.
