I find it hard to remember the names of random dudes I meet (neighbors etc), but I can remember pretty much every woman's name that I have a conversation with.

Do any of you have a similar problem?

I still can't remember my neighbor's name across the street. It's been 5+ years. We speak casually fairly often but I'm afraid to be like "What's your name again?" this late in the game.

I have trouble remembering anyone's name, male or female. Yesterday I went to a different work group and met 5-6 different people, and today I don't remember a single one of their names.

It's actually a strange lesbian couple. I like them, they are just odd. The one that I usually talk to is probably in her 40s, wears pajama pants outside with a T-Shirt and no bra (Not hot) while walking their dogs. She seems kind of slow. Her partner, who I assumed was her mom until someone told me, looks like she could be 70. I'm not sure if she is sick or not but she looks like it. There is also a boy that lives (Or at least use to) there who is probably 21-22. Not sure how he is related.

If I'm not repeating it in my head or say it out loud I don't remember people's names about 5 seconds after I just shook their hand. This happens even when I meet somebody a few times. A random friend of my friend I see like 2-3 times a year and I ask my gf every time we're on the way what his name is, and I still never remember it.

Now that I think about it, it might just be guys. I guess I just don't care

I just politely ask everyone I meet to wear a name tag.

I keep some + a sharpie in my cargo shorts at all times.

yeah I'm awful at remembering names of people I just met. I try to do the "nice to meet you, (name)" just so I'll say it and remember it. Doesn't always work. Plus i forget to do it some times
