Save time and money and skip draining the oil off the can of tuna. Just chunk it in, ya dummy.

I heard that tuna in the packs is better for you than canned. I read this somewhere but I can't remember why.

Tuna in 100% olive oil is hard to find round some parts.

Dummy.

yeah, I don't care for tuna oil. it suddenly occurs to me that it might be good to jerk off with, though.

Amazon sells the world.

24 cans for $42.
OR
$0.82 per can plus $6 flat rate shipping for PrimePantry Box. (box can hold 100 cans!)

Dummy.

(Walmart in Baton Rouge has tuna in olive oil, so unless you are living in a town smaller than BR, you should be good)

AHA, you're in Baton Rouge? No wonder you're all FML about everything.

And, if you actually care and stuff, you gotta look at the ingredients yo. Every time I've checked, all the "in olive oil" offerings at Walmart were just part olive oil.

Still, it's good to know I can buy stuff on the Internet. But you must have a way better Amazon account than me cause mine says it's around $250+ for 100 cans through PrimePantry...

Actually, it has nothing to do with that... I spend 99% of my time on the LSU campus and I love it

Of course I do! I never buy anything without reading the ingredients and nutrition info. The cans I bought from Walmart were in olive oil only. It was either Bumble Bee or Chicken of the Sea. I just checked the ingredients online for both of those brands, and it is olive oil only. I am curious to know which brands say "in olive oil" and then use a mix of oils. Please do report back next time you run into them!

I have Amazon Prime Student which I believe gives all the benefits of Prime. It's just that for the first 6 months of your studentship it is free, and after that you can renew it every year for 50% of the regular Prime price. PrimePantry prices are obviously only good if you have Prime.

OK, so I messed up a bit earlier as the $0.82 can is in soybean oil, it's just that it turned up in my "tuna in olive oil" search on amazon, but the can itself clearly does not say olive oil on it. I should have been skeptical, as $0.82/can if in olive oil is very low, even for PrimePantry. So I found the best deals if you have Prime:

24 for $43
http://www.amazon.com/Genova-Tonno-Solid-Light-5-Ounce/dp/B003EYXVZA

12 for $24
http://www.amazon.com/Bumble-Bee-Prime-Fillet-Tonno/dp/B00E3QNH0W (also available in jalapeno and chipotle versions)

24 for $48
http://www.amazon.com/Cento-Solid-Packed-Light-3-Ounce/dp/B0014GUBY4

4 for $8

Let me be frank, I made this thread not because I buy tuna in oil ( I only eat whole albacore filets in water) but because I read about that dude who was fucking steamed to death at that tuna plant.

^^^^^^I've read the back of cans for at least 25 years. I don't frequent Walmart and check their canned seafood selection regularly...but, a few months ago, all the brands I could find that said "in olive oil" also included other oils (and you're a dipshit if you didn't realize that).

You also bullshitted on at least a hundred dollars for some Amazon shit. Plus, you're still confused about which brand you supposedly found at Walmart in Baton Rouge.

The worst part is you had the revolting nerve to post a winky face at me and a kissy face.

Despite your pretensions, you've revealed yourself to be entirely 100% full of shit.

I'm the one who has stood in a Walmart and pathetically read the back of cans. I'm the one who has scoured Amazon for the best deals on my preferred foods. To be clear, you're a fucking liar. If I ever met you in person, I'd gleefully choke you to death with my own hands.

You posted some crazy bullshit and then tried to back off it without acknowledging at all that everything in your original post to me was garbage.

You're an uppity cunt, and you deserve to die for it.

I was curious and drunk enough to spend the 5 seconds to check amazon. FIRST RESULT FOR TUNA IN OLIVE OIL

http://www.amazon.com/Genova-Tonno-Solid-Light-5-Ounce/dp/B003EYXVZA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430356280&sr=8-1&keywords=tuna+in+olive+oil

24 packs of tuna in olive oil for $42.72. And it's amazon prime so free shipping.

What kind of ghetto amazon you got Bridget?

^^OEP promised me 100 cans for .82/piece on Amazon...then he realized the brand he was listing had canola oil.

He also claimed he had a great deal at Walmart, but he can't remember which brand at the moment.

How are you actually bothering to search this shit without understanding it at all?

I dunno, maybe I'm not as pedantic and argumentative as some people.

If I get canned tuna it's solid white albacore in water anyway so I don't really care about tuna in oil.

I don't either!!!!!

ALL I DID WAS POINT OUT TO THIS FUCKING OEP BITCH THAT IT'S KINDA HARD TO FIND TUNA IN 100% OLIVE OIL. AND HE INSISTED IT WAS SUPER FUCKING EASY.

AND THEN YOUR DUMBASS INSISTED IT, TOO.

BECAUSE YOU DON'T FUCKING READ.

^^ Well shit I don't even know what you are arguing about.

It is easy to find... on Amazon. It took 5 seconds.

He said he could find it at his walmart (didn't see him saying he could get a good deal on it) and I have no idea whether that's true or not, I've never looked for tuna in olive oil at walmart so it's not something I could comment on.

I know it's the trendy thing on TWW to belittle every 0EPII1 post but I don't know that I found too much wrong with his in this thread.

^^NO!

You posted about your Amazon nonsense as if you'd bought it before. You also implied you'd found it at Walmart...but now that I've pointed out the ingredients situation, you can't remember the brand you bought at Walmart. You also realized your brand from Amazon wasn't 100% olive oil.

You got uppity as shit, and I've got nothing better to do than harass you until you fucking apologize.

^I'm not belittling anything. Again, I'm the one who has wasted time in Walmart and searching on Amazon...he's the one telling lies about it.

(I've found some single 100% olive oil cans at Walmart, but they're pricey, and this OEP guy who recommends them apparently can't name them.)

And I don't think it's "trendy" to threaten physical harm over cans of tuna. I'm not trying to be cool. Obviously.

let me also add, i ate a fair share of TNC as a kid. It was edible. what was not was "seafood enchiladas". It was a few bricks of imitation crab, a few bricks of frozen spinach, skim milk?, light cheese, corn tortilla.

^^Second post you called me a dummy. Was that factual? Cause I missed the part where you acknowledged that I was right and you were a fucking liar.

You posted some bullshit Amazon tuna, and you can't even name the Walmart tuna.

You're not mistaken. You're a liar.

And I want you to fucking admit it and never speak out with some bullshit again.

Never been a fan of tuna casserole. Also don't like most tuna salad because hate pickle relish and 97% of tuna salad has it. Canned tuna I like generally either by itself or with just mayo and salt and pepper.

I am a fan of saying "tuna fish" as opposed to just "tuna"

it's completely redundant, obviously, but it's a nice, vaguely old-timey phrase. my Mom always says "tuna fish."
