1) I warned users bbehe, El Nacho, and wolfpack2105 not to annoy BJ because

2) He cyberstalked and weirded me out 2 months ago, mods were informed

3) I got a series of maybe 40 missed calls and voicemails the day after BJ's creepy PM

4) The content of those voicemails was concerning and immediately reminded me of our exchange

5) The mods couldnt help me but ITS at my employer took care of it

6) It was a mistake to warn bbehe about annoying BJ two months later because they are real life friends and my message was relayed to BJ

7) BJ thinks what im doing is illegal even though I dont know who he is, looks like, etc, so im not sure which nerve I hit exactly

All he is to me is "blackjesus who drives a pontiac and hates me." I could understand his position better if I was sharing his personal information, although I have none, and I would be happy to provide the PMs I sent to El Nacho or wolfpack2105.

I've said on multiple occasions that I accept it could be a coincidence. Obviously I cant take back the assumption that I sent El Nacho and wolfpack2105.

Big deal. As ive already told you its POSSIBLE one of my students works there. Not my first thought when I get the calls the day after you creep on me. Thats simple human nature.

Two months later I admit this, so idk what the problem is. I already told you ITS didnt give me much information at all from their "investigation" of the crank calls. Instructors get that kind of bullshit fairly regularly, although in this case I was fresh out of an argument... with you.

Its pretty simple and not at all serious. On the bright side El Nacho and wolfpack2105 arent bothering you, right?

The context in the first message is... misunderstood. I think BJ himself could clear that up.

I meant if ITS gave me the number of the person who ACTUALLY crank called me, maybe he would recognize the number or be able to point me in the right direction (a department or supervisor). I wasnt asking for BJ's supervisor-

BJ himself even offered to help TODAY if I got him that information!

I think everyone here would agree it isn't cool to use a work number to call and harass another work number. When I got the calls in question I wasn't in my office so Lync emailed me each time I missed a call or received a voicemail; those were turned over to ITS so they could "investigate." I didnt call it back myself because it appeared as "Anonymous Caller." bbehe is pissed because I wont give him those communications in question. Why the fuck who I share those with some Wolf Web stranger? Who the fuck made bbehe Sherlock Holmes? Anyway,

Some time later they asked if I "had a problem with anyone working at IBM in Raleigh."

"No, I dont think so."

Now, I mistakenly assumed this was BJ based on the exchange we had the day before. When I noticed other users heckling BJ in the same way I did I thought it would be a good idea to warn them and prevent this from happening again. My only mistake was I should have said "I think BJ crank called me at work" instead of "BJ crank called me at work." I've apologized for that mistake multiple times. bbehe is trying to turn this into something it isnt / something me and BJ already worked out.

Here's the thing, at my last job, I was a network engineer as well. I know how VoIP systems work, I know how a PBX works, etc...if an Anonymous call comes in, unless it was internal, IT wouldn't be able to tell you who it was. Anonymous is anonymous, not 'anonymous unless IT really tries'. That's not how that works.

So again, I ask you, show some evidence of 40 missed calls or admit you're making this up.

BlackJesus isn't a person, I don't know his name, I don't know anything about him.

It could be Walt Disney posting as BlackJesus and I wouldn't have a fucking clue. Furthermore the creepiness in question stems from BJ using my own name and picture against me, while I have no such information on him.

That's beside the point; you still can't read and don't understand the context in the PM you're referencing. BJ and I already had a discussion about figuring out who in that IBM building might be calling me. There is the possibility it could be a former student or something, so again, no, due to privacy issues you are not going to be involved in this, bbehe, so shut the fuck up.

I do not believe BlackJesus crank called me at work.

The language I used in my "warning" emails to other users giving BlackJesus a hard time was ill-chosen.

My intentions were noble; I only wanted to relieve some tension in certain threads.

I don't want to further provoke bbehe, so he wins. I don't know enough about the technical aspects of our phone system to answer his questions, ITS won't answer my own questions, and due to the nature of my work I can't risk privacy breaches in any way/shape/form.

I'll bend over and take my wolf web shame, but I think bbehe might be exaggerating the illegality of what ive done considering "BlackJesus" was the only name I used. Maybe things would be different if real-life was involved somehow, but unfortunately that's only the case on my end.

I apologize for reacting the way I did to a perceived threat to myself. This is the best I can do and I won't be posting about it anymore. I'll try my best to avoid certain users and other controversy; will probably just become another lurker.
