I have moles in my yard all of a sudden, normally I wouldn't care but my dog is now digging holes to try and get them. Appoerany they are "protected" and I "shouldn't" kill them with traps. Google interwebs search for nonleathal traps turn up shady results, and the sonic deterants apperantly are rubbish too. Anyone got any ideas to trap or drive them out before I explore lethal traps (allegedly )

you cant poison them legally, and you cant trap them without a permiton ncwildlife.org youll find a list by county of agents who will remove them for you

are you sure they're moles? perhaps they're voles

its pretty easy to differentiate between the two in terms of the damage they causevoles are not protected and can be poisonedhave you checked on chemical mole deterrents? most are castor oil based and sprayed over the entire yard.

[link]http://Flood The Weasel: https://youtu.be/FMYTqgu0yZ8[/link]I dealt with this issue when I lived in downtown five points a few years ago. This video shows us flooding them out w a hose. It actually worked.
