See, Smath74 and I have had a running thing about hurricanes and our personal preference for experiencing them going on for well over a decade now, so my first inclination is to chalk this up to some of his clever trolling antics he is so fond of foisting upon The Soapbox, but in this instance I am not entirely sure if he isn't all together serious.

Fortunately there was some weakening prior to landfall and the core of violent winds was small. It hit a relatively rural area. Josh (the iCyclone chaser) said the worst only lasted 20 minutes but that his building was breaking apart during it. They took refuge in a bathroom with a mattress over them. One more elevated station reported a sustained wind of 185 mph with gusts to 210 mph.
