Video leaked to all major triangle news stations by an anonymous source, after police claimed since 2013 that no dashcam video existed. Looks like a good shoot to me, especially the pause before the two kill shots in the back.

The person that leaked that video had better pray FPD doesn't discover them. It seems the news agencies know who it is though. 5/14/2015 9:36:38 PM

This leaker needs to go to prison. He must be guilty of something. The SBI will track him down. They ruled the officer innocent, after all, so there's no need for this embarrassment. 5/14/2015 10:34:19 PM

He should have waited until the guy got the gun out of his waist band and fired a couple shots at him first 5/14/2015 11:01:43 PM

Silly citizens.
Remember the civil rights act of 1964 gives police and all citizens the same civil rights protections ( I.e. the fifth amendment is the biggest ).
Federal civil rights lawsuits take a LONG TIME to work through the system and cops get to hide behind the concept of "qualified immunity" if they "thought" or "think" they were just doing their job at the time (albeit phising is usually the case without reasonable articulated suspicion (RAS). They also have a tax payer funded lawyer via taxpayer's dollars to help fight off any bogus claims (unless they are sheriffs deputies then they work for the pleasure of the sheriff or a scapegoat whichever you prefer to look at it)
This cop shot the guy in the back and the citizens of Fayet-nam will pay for it vi a their tax dollars.
Best part about being a cop accountability for you actions is nonexistent and if so it is never criminal it is only civil I.e. the taxpayer foots the bill for your screw up 5/14/2015 11:04:10 PM

More details emerging. The video was released to the family's attorneys by accident(it's important to explain to your secretary when you're trying to hide evidence). The DA realized their mistake and asked a judge to block it's release. It should be no trouble to track down the leaker now. It has to be either the attorneys or someone in the family. If they hurry they can have the leaker in jail by sundown. 5/15/2015 10:20:10 AM
