not sure that this 100% fits into this...but most political/news things that people are clearly only using to advance their own political agenda. like benghazi or hillary clinton's emails are the two that come to mind. i think it was something like 4 americans that died in the benghazi attack. and that's unfortunate and everything - but that's kinda not a big deal to me. but i really don't think i'm alone in that.

global warming is another one. and it's not that i don't believe in global warming or don't think that it poses a serious threat. i guess i just look at it as something that is well out of my control and i'm just kinda apathetic about it in that way.
