Jason Pierre-Paul blew off 1, and thinks he's going to play this season.

How dumb do you have to be to blow off your fingers with a firework as a grown man. I've heard of kids doing this, but a grown man should know to light it and get it away from you. I mean, it is a damn explosive.

^^I have sympathy of Plex, his gun slid and went off when he grabbed it. How you can light a firework and have it go off close enough to your hand to fubar your finger is beyond me.

the vast majority of handguns have a manual safety, ie, a "switch" you can set to either Fire or Safe. Glocks on the other hand, have a tiny piece of plastic inside the trigger that you have to pull in order to fire. But all it really does is means if your finger tip is just on the very edge of the trigger, it won't pull. But if your finger is on the trigger, you're gonna shoot yourself in the leg like a moron. It's probably the worst possible handgun to carry in the waistband of your sweatpants.

Your point is? Anyone carrying a glock could end up shooting themselves trying to catch it. Where as you have to be a true moron to be 25+ and blow your fingers off with a firework. CJ Wilson is just as stupid as the dude that blew his head off with a firework.

One setoff a firework in his hand, the other put a gun in his waist band and it slid and in an effort to catch it he shot himself. Sure he could of shot someone else, but setting off a explosive in your hand trumps making a mistake with gun placement.
