This place deserves its own thread.

It's in the cut in Durham / RTP and if you're in the area (or even if you aren't) you should seriously check it out. Some of the best food I've ever had - not just for the Mediterranean cuisine, but period.

Kofta kebab platter is amazing. Top notch gyro. The curry chicken just falls apart on your fork.

grape leaves, yogurt (they might spell it with an H), pita bread, wraps, olives, chick peas, and some optional meat with a side of baklava.

Not this place, but I recently went to the newly relocated Taverna Agora downtown on Hillsborough. I went to the old one on Glenwood probably a few dozen times. I think it's possibly my favorite restaurant. The new building is really nice, the roof-top bar is quite chill, and the food is still awesome.

^glad to hear that. It's two blocks from my place, I've been excited to check it out - looks like a badass spot and probably a good place to watch some games in the fall on the rooftop.

Taverna Agora, Cafe Luna, Poole's, Humble Pie, and Med Grill round out my top five in the area right now.
