There is a multifaceted debate on this.

One side says that usage as reached its plateau and thus the word has been fully integrated into our language. While another point of view is that the plateau means the word is being used as much as ever but the population and sample size grows exponentially so the word is dying out. The last group takes the "who gives a fuck" point of view.
