i think this time gets gradually less and less the older i get.

Re: OP. Like other people have said, who gives a shit? Friend told me once that he met a chick so foul mouthed and offensive she reminded him of me. i think that may be the case with most people - at least in my experience. once you're older, you're kinda over the whole dating scene/game. there are less games being played or trying to beat around the bush and it's more like: we both know banging is fun, we should definitely do it sooner rather than later and not wait on any made up societal time frame for doing so.
