They make big wheels for adults, and the descriptions are really appealing. But I'm afraid I might turn into a recumbent cycling enthusiast, and that's a whole lifestyle that I'm not sure I'm ready for.

I pedaled around in a black plastic Big Wheel until I wore it out, but I don't remember It being anything fancy like that midnight rider thing. My parents always tell me stories about me trying to take off down the driveway at the top of the hill and my parents having to run me down halfway down the street.

I used to love riding my big wheel. I'd pedal up and down the halls of the hotel and even around the kitchen. My dad didn't seem to like me doing it though, but he was pretty stressed out with his book and adapting to the role of winter caretaker.
