So SMU got a post-season ban for academic misconduct. How fast was this decision made, and what does it mean for the UNC case (if anything)? Does it mean that there is now precedent for the UNC case?

oh yeah, that nine game ban for blatant cheating is so harsh. who will coach SMU when they play East Bumfuck State now?

Yes, I realize that scholarship reductions are a serious punishment.

I'm saying that these coach suspensions are a ridiculous joke of a punishment, until they affect meaningful (conference) games.
