At first i thought it was an intruder and yelled to them. A bloody beagle came out. No one was in the apartment but there were some puddles of blood near the door and a note

Nothing seemed to add up until i noticed an incision in my side. Pretty sure they stole my kidney and left the dog to throw me off track. took me an hour to figure it out.

still at the hospital...

My kidney isn't gone but the doctor said it looks like they were going in to get it and aborted for some reason so now i have an incision. They are treating and monitoring me for any chance of infection but It looks like I'm coming out of this lucky. Police said the same thing happened to a man in holly Springs last year and they are hoping to find a print match in the ongoing investigation. I did a phone interview with WRAL but am not sure when they will air anything.
