Thank you. I told you I would try on being less insufferable but it's not like you're helping the situation. Many people buy ski passes (obviously depending on where you live) and many major ski passes contain multiple resorts. I don't see how pointing this out in a thread specially about skiing is insufferable. I also asked if anyone had been there not how much cooler I was for going there than everyone else (which would have been insufferable).

If you can't even call out the truly insufferable comments from the non-insufferable ones you're just being insufferable yourself.

It changes so much every time I go back. I heard they're tearing down Common Market South for more apartments. I know they need to build apartments but it seems like more and more are popping up each time I go back to visit.

The real estate development community must think it's pre-2008 economy or something. 10 years ago I'd be an expert on all the bar changes but I don't get out as much so I haven't been keeping up with all the new developments.

Yeah it's usually just from me driving around town when I'm visiting and seeing new places pop up or word of mouth. I guess if they can fill them up.

Big thing from a bar/drinking perspective lately (last few years) is all the breweries. Hop, Drop & Roll is already nationally acclaimed and deservedly so, but some other local breweries getting some good pub. Look out Asheville!

Yeah that's a new one in NoDa right? Well new is relative I guess. I heard they're opening the first one in Plaza Midwood (Legion Brewing - in what used to be Brodts music). I'm glad they didn't tear that building down. I used to go there in middle school and high school for music related stuff. The most recent article I could find was from May 13th:

NoDa Brewing Company makes Hop Drop 'n Roll

But it's won a bunch of national awards. It's a taste IPA to get you drunk as well. But the local brewery scene is getting good.
