I have a cellphone wallet. I did this because I often lose my wallet. I also lose my cell phone, but the "Find My Android" feature makes finding my phone much easier.
BUT, sometimes I lose my phone/wallet when the phone has no battery left, and thus the Find my Android is rendered worthless.
So is there an app where if my phone is at critical battery level, the phone will like shutdown nearly all functions except for the ability to ring when the Find my Android app is used? I would love something like that.
Do apps like juice defender have a setting like that?

Once you've reached critical battery then any usage of the screen/radios/gps will run the battery down further, so getting to the critical level is detrimental to your phone's ability to be contacted or used in the way you want.
What you really want is small battery pack (or a bigger one) with a short cord to extend your battery range when you're away from a wall and heavily using your phone.:

That's just an example. They also make phone cases with integrated battery backs.11/6/2015 10:28:59 AM |

^^Thanks for the suggestion! I just bought two of those.
^Last location info really doesn't help me, because I usually just lose my phone in my house somewhere, (If only GPS was accurate down to the individual rooms in my house). I spend hours looking for that fuck a couple times a week... All I need from the find my android thing is the ability to make my phone ring, even though its on silent, so I can find that fucker resting on an attic rafter because I left it there while sleeping walking last night. 11/6/2015 5:51:20 PM |

What if phone is on silent?
And what I really wanted is when my phone gets to like 5% power or some shit, it just shuts down entirely, accept for allowing itself to be located with a sound 12/22/2015 9:42:49 PM |

You could attach one of those old people key finders to the wallet. I bet Synapse has one. 12/24/2015 1:29:04 AM |
