Not sure if happy about this. Ive not played much of the "live action" RPGs lately, so not quite sure how to compare.

I really hope they dont get rid of materia. I wish more games would do something like that. That or take it to another step and have it give added effects more by combining them.

I'm not shocked that they're changing the battle system. Having the characters sit on opposite sides of the screen then run over and hit each other would look awkward as fuck paired with the photorealistic graphics of today. I can't imagine them ditching Materia though, since it's tied to the plot of the game.

If they release this in 2017 I'll be shocked, Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced for 2015 IIRC. Of course the FF VII remake will be split into parts, so that'll make a difference.

^^from what i saw it looked similar to FFXV. you fought real time but could "pause" to take heals or set attacks for your team

^Pretty spot on. Though there is a gauge you need to fill in order to use commands in 'paused' mode.

Chapter 4ish I think. Also really enjoying it. Lots of call back to the original naturally, but already the story is diverging a bit.

I don't have a PS4 so I sat through 9 hrs of cutscenes on Youtube. The end of this game is definitely WTF all around with all those damn ghosts. Another vid explains it as a possible reboot point, so get ready for screw-up next round^

Yep, Eyes on Me. Terribly translated. Part of the FF8 soundtrack, which I have.

Hard drive as in, the SSD on my computer - which I was coincidentally getting cleaned up and organized after many years.

And yeah I got all my mp3s on my phone as well for on-the-go.

finally got this on PC.

Don't like the battle system. I see most people are praising it but just feels weird to have everything super fast then you "pause" essentially to issue commands.

thought the game was really long but i guess that an FF rpg for you.
