I did this myself in a 2 story 2400 square foot house. Its easy as fuck.

Here is your shopping list:

A 25 foot Fish Tape----- $15 To "fish" the wires the walls and attic space
roll of electrical tape---- $2.00 (for attaching Cat 6 to fish tape)
All the Cat 6 you need---- Price unknown- but its purty cheap on amazon
A couple face plates--- $2.00 per face plate (so you dont have ugly ass holes in your walls.)

Why bother to "terminate"? Just buy a couple God damn 50 foot Cat 6 cables, who gives a shit if you have a little excess in your attic/basement.

I guess if you are an OCD nerd and you NEED it to be the "EXACT LENGTH REQUIRED."

Terminate means to connect a RJ-45 (or a plate) to the end of the cables, not to cut them a specific length.

But it's also very easy to do.
