BC took out their starter after 3 innings with only one run given up. Why would they do that?

Going into bottom of the 9th, still 7-6.

Game over, BC is in, but I think UNC could still finish 10th? I'm looking at a standings chart but have no idea which games it has been updated for or not.

The standings are weird because not everyone played the same number of games (which is why I've been posting win%).

UNC tied with Wake, but Wake swept the season series and so wins tie breaker.

ACC has officially announced it. UVA and FSU are swapped from what I posted above, but hard to say if that's better or worse for us since we didn't get to play a full series against FSU.

UNC fans on IC are saying they should at least get into the NCAAs because of brand recognition, and that if they don't get in it's because the NCAA is out to get them any way they can. I really should stop reading their boards.

So basically they should get into every tournament ever for every sport just because of who they are. And if they don't, it's a conspiracy by the same governing body that altered their latest NOA to let them slide.

the ACC is very strong this year and, on the surface, i don't think it would be an injustice for a team that missed the ACCT to make the NCAAT. with that said, what really hurts UNC is teams like Duke - who may also be on the bubble - making the tournament and having that chance to continue to build and improve their resume. but i also don't follow baseball that closely so i know there are more informed folks here than i am to comment on it.

Louisville has been the best team in the country for the past month or so - their #1 RPI and best record vs. top 25 are subpoints to that... I'd believe more in a magical run for State if our pitching wasn't suddenly so erratic...
