Over/Under that NEITHER budges due to the fact that we are in the Panthers market, just to prove their point. IMO Direct TV has more to lose as people can switch services. WRAL doesn't care. When they do reach an agreement, it's not like people won't tune in to WRAL if this lasts a while.

Anyone missing their favorite shows right now?

Although it will be a bad look for WRAL if weather gets nasty this weekend and all the news stations go to 24 hour coverage.

Why will it look bad? You just said all the news stations will cover the weather, ergo consumers will have plenty of other ways to be informed.

winter weather coverage is the worst. the light snow we had last Sunday caused WRAL to break out DRIVE 5 (dumbest shit ever) to drive around the whole fucking county, with homeboy reporting, "There is some precipitation hitting the windshield, and when I stick my hand out of the window, I can feel precipitation". HOLY SHIT, THAT'S SOME IMPORTANT REPORTING.

From my research a few years ago, get a Mohu. I don't see them on sale a lot, but the reviews are by far the best.

if you live in/near raleigh, you can probably get WRAL by sticking a damn coat hanger in your tv.

Thanks to this nonsense, I couldn't watch the game last night.

So I had to get extremely drunk instead.

If you ask me, they really need to get their shit together.

^Yeah, I had to watch the game on my laptop last night. And folks (including me) will be pissed about missing the game this weekend too.

I get terrible antenna reception at my house so that wouldn't work for me.

I put one of those cheap flat antennas on my bedroom TV since my wife mainly watches netflix and I was tired of paying extra for the box. I was thinking about getting a better one to see if I could pick up more channels.

this was just a ploy by the antenna lobby to get people to buy more flatennas or rabbit ears.
