Why aren't these women taking him to court? Why do so many women who are sexually assaulted back down? Is it because the system and the judicial process is stacked against them? Actually, that's just a rhetorical question; I have read enough accounts to know of the prevalent rape culture."

It was in her initial statement that she wrote the email to get some closure, and has assumed trump was as bothered by the incident as she was, but she wasn't aware at the time trump has done the same thing to many women.

And I'm pretty sure sending an email to trump's secretary saying he sexually abused you and you want to meet or else is a good way to have trump try to ruin your life by smearing your name.

Most of the women that have released statements why they didn't initially come forward (shame, fear of reprisal, desire to try and forget-- pretty much standard abuse responses). As for legal action, there's a statute of limitations and without witnesses, and only the vague admission of guilt by trump, the evidence is only circumstantial.

Quote :
" The American electorate has turned deeply skeptical about the integrity of the nation's election apparatus, with 41 percent of voters saying November's election could be "stolen" from Donald Trump due to widespread voter fraud.

The new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll -- conducted among 1,999 registered voters Oct. 13 through Oct. 15 -- shows that Trump’s repeated warnings about a “rigged” election are having effect: 73 percent of Republicans think the election could be swiped from him. Just 17 percent of Democrats agree with the prospect of massive fraud at the ballot box.

The public sentiment is beginning to reflect Trump's campaign message. Over the last week, the GOP nominee has intensified his criticism of the U.S. electoral system, much to the chagrin of elected Republicans, who think it threatens the peaceful transfer of power. Trump calls the process rigged, and has said the media is colluding with Hillary Clinton to throw the presidential race in her favor."

Looks like we're heading for two 'illegitimate' presidents in a row. Thanks Trump!

Are we really having to litigate the ridiculous claim about voter fraud again??? For fucks sake. Trump and his supporters are god damn dangerous morons if they really believe this.

And reports of widespread fraud in 'those areas' will of course come from Trump's Election Observers because all press, all exit polling and all election officials are in on stealing the election.

The circle of Trump's delusion will be complete.

With the events in Mosul and other cities in Iraq, it sounds like ISIS may be on the decline. I can just see Trump reading about the attempt at taking back Mosul, sweating bullets, because a large part of his campaign is ISIS ISIS ISIS we're gonna kill ISIS ISIS ISIS blow them into the sky ISIS ISIS ISIS.

When ISIS gets defeated so will his "foreign policy."

I wonder if the thought will ever enter Trump's mind of how much he lost to Hillary. The likely second most disliked candidate in history. The same person that would be losing in a landslide to almost any other candidate the Republicans could have thrown out there except maybe Ted Cruz... who finished second. I mean surely at some point he has to realize just how bad that is right?

Dukakis lost by about 8% of the popular vote.

+20% margin of victory:
Warren Harding defeats James Cox, 1920 (26.17% margin)
Calvin Coolidge defeats John Davis, 1924 (25.22% margin)
Franklin Roosevelt defeats Alf Landon, 1936 (24.26% margin)
Richard Nixon defeats George McGovern, 1972 (23.15% margin)
Lyndon Johnson defeats Barry Goldwater, 1964 (22.58% margin)

Dukakis got 111 electoral votes

McGovern got 17 (against Nixon)
Mondale got 13
Alf Landon got 8

Some people like to compare Trump to Andrew Jackson, so there's that. Jackson won though.

Mondale got 11 EVs vs Reagan in '84. The only state he carried was his own.

Though, I would still take all of them over either of the two clowns running now. So maybe the rankings should be

1.Trump
1a. H. Clinton
2. Mondale

lol, you are such a hack. Sure, there may be some instances of the DNC plants encouraging violence . But because there may be some instances, you immediately assume that ALL instances of violence are because of the DNC. how do you not recognize your own biases and twisted logic?

There "may be some instances"? The guy admitted to having an entire network. If you don't think this is a huge problem, you're a hack. If this was in the GOP it would be on the news 24/7.

I also never made the claim that "All instances of violence are because of the DNC". Keep making those strawman arguments so you can act like I have inconsistent logic, as you try and squirm around the fact that your corrupt party is paying for violence.

^^lol, you've made several statements that inferred all the violence was DNC-trained plants, like this one for instance, and this wasn't the only one:

Quote :
"All those violent Trump supporters hobos the DNC trained, funded, and planted to incite violence. "

and i haven't even watched the video, but what makes you believe the guy on the video? what makes you believe his claim to an "entire network". why do you find him trustworthy and believable? serious question.

also, pretty rich that you accuse people of strawmen. they're basically the crux of almost all of your hyperbolic posts. for instance, you say i'm squirming to avoid the fact that the DNC was behind some of the instigation at the rallies, when I haven't done that. I wouldn't be surprised if it did occur in some instances. and i ain't got a party, bro.

Echo chamber sounds fairly triggered today.

The DNC not only cheated Bernie, it also payed trained hobos to start fights at the Trump rallies, and the media is so biased it didn't cover it.

Please try to squirm around that, hacks. And please tell me how an orange billionaire fucking bimbos 10 years ago is more relevant?

To be fair, I feel legitimate sympathy for my conservative friends. Trump truly did hijack the lowest common denominator of the party. They didn't sign up for this.

(JCE isn't even in that group. He's just a weird contrarian.)

My tears were shed during the primaries. I don't want either candidate.

All I want at this point is for the hacks to be concerned about corruption. Somethings are more important than whose "team" wins. I honestly don't know what blatant evidence it would take for a Clinton supporter to actually care, but I guess that cognitive dissonance is a trademark of #ImWithHer types.

I don't know how many times I can say it. I think she will be more of the same in Washington. She isn't different than 95% of all politicians. But she won't potentially do anything catastrophic and will apppoint at worst center-left justices.

And, of course, I think a conservative leaning court will have real negative consequences to women's rights and LGBTQ rights while having no positive financial outcomes.

Nym, consider me one of the folks that feel like our party has been hijacked. I'm embarrassed that he is considered a Republican. Bigly.

I mean hell, I wanted a center leaning Republican, like Bush, to have a shot. I wasn't a fan of Cruz, and after it was apparent that Bush wasn't in contention, I looked to Rubio or Kasich. Kasich would have been good I think but there at the end he went off the rails.

Now, we're not only off the rails, but the trestle has collapsed and we're at the bottom of the river.

I think if Bush had somehow won the primary, it would be a very close race right now.
