I know her as well. We had philosophy together and it was some course about morality and what it is. She seemed like a decent person but I don't know enough to say if it is in her character or not.

She seemed rather plain Jane from what I recall. Dressed plainly, not put together but not disheveled. Sort of cute but not cute enough to take your attention from the other girls in the class.

I still find it bullshit that the teacher is only one to get in trouble if they have consensual sex with a student of age. The only way to see a high reduction of these 'crimes' is to make it an offense for the student as well. I don't want to argue the legalities of it, I understand them, I'm just saying.

Absolutely fucking this. Guy that I was friends with apparently sexed up a young teen girl on video during the time that I knew him and was later busted. Would have never in a million years guessed he of all people would do some shit like that, so I've learned from that to never be surprised by what people are capable of doing.

I have a friend that I made in college and His mom came out as a lesbian and divorced his father our freshman year. He has 2 younger brothers and a sister. So at that point, the woman had an 18 year old son, a 16 year old son, a 13 year old son and a 9 year old daughter and came out as a lesbian.

Exactly, a guy I grew up with became a high school teacher and was arrested and fired from his job when he tried to get one of his female students to go to a party with him. I never would have thought he would do something like that.

I went down her timeline some, she did not seem like an evil person, a little cray possibly...which would explain this situation.

I think 50k bond and being banned from seeing her own children is extreme given the circumstances. I wonder how many violent domestic abusers do not even get that after beating the shit out of a family member multiple times. Hopefully her family can afford some decent legal representation, even the cops basically said the whole thing was consensual even though still illegal.
