I've probably eaten at several hundred different Subways around the US and in the Caribbean during my various travels, and the quality and service have been amazingly consistent.

I haven't eaten at one since possibly 2010. I don't actively avoid them, but there's always a better sub option around most of the time.

The closest subway to me is in a Wal-mart.

20 feet away from the subway is the wal-mart deli, which sells subs that are bigger, tastier, have twice as much meat, and are the same price as Subway's.

So I haven't eaten a subway sub in a while.
