Anyone know of a current working method to upgrade your device (subsidized) and keep your UDP with VZW? Apparently purchasing via third party and using your old SIM card no longer works. The only methods I've seen that may work are activating on another line, or other round about ways. 3/17/2016 10:54:39 PM |

Pay that full price for the phone and they'll let you keep the existing plan.

We still have our unlimited plan for my wife, but we had to buy the phone in full. Now they are charging us an extra $50/month for the privilege. 3/18/2016 7:15:11 AM |

Dang. I've never been charged extra for my UDP.
Even just a year ago, you could get a subsidized phone from a third party seller (e.g. BestBuy), throw away the new SIM, put your old SIM in the new phone, and keep your UDP. VZW must have caught on 3/18/2016 8:38:41 AM |
