LOL yeah. He was engaged last spring and in July his fiancee just up and left to MN. Recently we heard he got arrested and kept trying to find out what the charges were, but since it was a federal crime we couldn't.

Best part was his family asking his friends for positive letters on his character to ask the judge for leinency. Of course no one wanted to write one up without knowing the charge.

Happened to me last year. Friend got fifteen years federal for fucking a kid on camera. His wife and kids had no idea. We have still been friends with his family and tried to support them but it has been a fucked up situation all around. She immediately separated from him and wants nothing to ever do with him again, but the kids are still having a tough time with it even a year later.

Yea, but dude I knew was in his 40s, had a good wife and family, was the CIO of Lulu, was not antisocial or anything, volunteered a bunch and otherwise raised no red flags. It was shocking to me and his wife and family as well. Obviously he used some of the volunteering as a cover for his illicit activities.

Except this was an acquaintance of my parents. School teacher at the elementary school I went to and fondled kids there, but retired way before I ever went to school. My parents knew him because he was an elder at a sister church to the church my father was an elder at. I distinctly remember my parents telling me "Say hello to Mr. Patterson" as I hid behind their legs cause I was kinda a shy kid anyways. Looking back, I'm like how did people not know, this one seems more obvious than most? He had the creepiest combover and super shifty eyes. I mean shit, look at this guy:
