Bale, am I right?

If they can adapt to the size of Wembley (big if given their results there) they should be co-title favorites.

lol Rooney to spurs would be hilarious. They can have him as far as I am concerned. Spurs missing out on silverware the last two seasons will come back to bite them IMO. They have a great project sure but the teams around them are going to get much better again next year. It also remains to be seen if they can hold on to their current stars. Great two seasons for them but at the end it will be meaningless without trophies. Wembley's pitch is also much bigger than WHL. I don't think that will bode well for the style they play.

Great. Koscielny out next week from a tackle in which will end up being a meaningless game.

Was definitely nervous for the first half of the Liverpool game. The first goal opened a lot up, thank Jesus.

Those new kits are sexy as fuck. Will be getting one for sure.

The pitch size thing is so overblown. We just put 7 in the net on the biggest pitch in the league. If anything it will help to consistently play on bigger pitches than going back and forth between that and WHL.

Also,

Not a bad week for him to finish up that back to back golden boot at age 23.

What's on everybody's wish list for their team this offseason?

I want a real goalscorer and not another hybrid winger/AM. Not saying him specifically but somebody like Auba would be perfect. LFC also need a solid CM/DM player that can handle the middle of the field. I honestly don't feel like Hendo is going to be that guy. Also, I'd like a solid RB. Milner did a job but he can't be the guy going forward. All that and no injuries this summer and I'll be good. If there are any big transfers out (Coutinho) then that obviously changes my list.

oh yes and Pulisic so I can cop that new jersey for an American Liverpool baller

^so much yes.

We have to upgrade Lovren. He is a great second choice but we cant rely on him injury wise and Klavan and Lucas are not starters.

I'm ok with Can as long as he continues to mature and stays fit. that golazo tho.

Agreed. Age is catching up quickly.

Thankfully I think Mignolet has made his place. I think he can be very very good.

Can't really see Pulisic moving this summer, and frankly I don't want him to if possible.

He's becoming a bigger figure for Dortmund and starting to get regular run-outs. Why mess with that in a world cup year where he needs to be on the pitch weekly building up to next summer? It would be way better for the US if he stays put until after that tournament imo.

Griezmann, DM, CB and we set. Quality of players will depend on if we win tomorrow. Win tomorrow and I have absolutely no doubt Mourinho is going to go on to challenge for the title with the players incoming. Lose tomorrow and we should absolutely not try in the Europa again and focus solely on the league but I worry about the quality of players we may be able to get without CL.

Pulsic should stay put for another year or so and then make his dream move to United next year.

Long-term is he going to be a CAM? With Dembele on the right and Dortmund preferring Pulisic there not sure it's ideal. I mean it's a great club and great for young kids but he'll rightfully be behind Dembele.

I dunno, I could see Dembele moving up front and then onward to Bayern very quickly thereafter once Aubamayang leaves (potentially this summer but certainly no later than next). So on a 2-3 year timeline, either Pulisic stays out on the right for Dortmund, or moves inside to the CAM he's already playing for the USMNT. I don't see anyone better positioned to play in either position than him at Dortmund right now, unless they make some large signing. But you're right, I don't see him playing over Dembele if they're competing directly for one spot.

Should be 3.

An in-form Ramsey heads that in no problem. This system suits Arsenal well with Bellerin and Ox as wingbacks.

Double post but fucking loved Rob Holding staring down Diego Costa.

Guy is a cheap stud. So calm on the ball too. Class John Stones.

Too bad it was likely Alexis' last game here..

Well in his defence, the board told him that they weren't going to sell Mhkitaryan, Hummels, and Gudogan... then went and sold them

then he came back from Winter break and the board had gone out and bought Isak without telling him about it AT ALL

so yeah, i'd be a bit of a fucking twat, too
