getting gas on the way to richmond. hear a screech then a thump. turn around and see a guy flying through the air. i sprinted over immediately. thankfully he was ok but i stuck around for a while to make sure he was ok. he was just shaken up though.

the next day (saturday) my cousins best friend had a family party at the lake for her daughters. before the party (i was helping set up) some 5'9, 80lb girl starts puking and passes out. my cousin is a trained emt and i know how to respond due to years of coaching. it was the heat. and she hadn't eaten that day. so we iced her and put her in an air conditioned room until the ambulance arrived and took her away. i talked to her boyfriend and told him to remain calm and he was. the girl had a pulse of over 160 and her wrists were turning blue. her condition improved a lot in the 45 minutes we were caring for her.
