Hating the PokeStop changes, especially since they stopped giving out more items per stop over the weekend. I've noticed if you attempt to hit a PokeStop while going too fast, you'll be locked out, even after you come to a complete stop (although not always). Spawns are pretty "blah" again, although I did get a Likitung and Ponyta in one of the areas I frequent, which is pretty rare. Wondering if they'll have another special event over the holidays. I should hit level 30 with one more Lucky Egg evolve-a-thon, but I see my play dropping off quite a bit after that, until the next event.

I abandoned the lucky egg approach, completely lost interest in the grind. Pretty much focus on gyms and filling out my Dex. Only bother with gyms for coins for incubators.

Some speculation that there may be a Thanksgiving one, but I expect they'll skip that and have a solid Christmas one. Not sure if it'll be about candy this time or more dust. They made too much money for the Halloween event NOT to do something that drives up incubator sales.

Will be interesting to see when the next 100 Pokemon drop, will they do it around the Holidays or wait until the Spring.

Hate they teased us with amazing stops and then went back to 3-4 items. I'm still seeing a decent amount of variety, finally seeing a couple of the ones I need. Would love the next event to have the same buddy program as before so I could finish out a few more.

I'm down to about 10 balls now. I used to be able to get a solid amount going to/from work but now that you can't get them while moving, I can only get like 6 balls a day. Combine that with making gyms ridiculous to buff and I barely have any revives or potions left. So I pretty much have no way to even play the game anymore. Good job on that, Niantic.

Ah true true I'll admit now that I cant do drivebys of a few pokestops each day I have barely logged in. Almost out of regular pokeballs so until I get time to stop at a park or something for an hour I won't be loading up on shitty ones anymore at least.

Yeah when my items get low, I just stop catching non-rare Pokemon and just focus on going to areas with a lot of stops and making a few rounds.

Problem is I'm constantly throwing out Pokeballs now just trying to get Potions/Revives. This staying in at least10 gyms everyday is a lot more tedious than it use to be.

Looks like nest migrations occurred last night, will be interesting to see what they switched to. Hopefully something I actually need.

Found someone cheating this morning, on my drive in someone took a level 10 gym down to zero, nobody within 100 yards of the place, and then left the gym empty.

Best part about the adjusted CP was that it revived/healed every Pokemon. Wish they'd do that again today, haha.

Gyms have become such a pain. Training one up is pointless and taking them each day is time/resource consuming. I imagine with the double XP/Dust it's only going to be more tedious as people try to claim as many gyms each day as they can.

They took away the "pokestop completed" action if your bag's full. Which is nice because it gives you a chance to toss some stuff and respin, but bad because you don't get the quick XP if you don't want to throw anything away

I havent even logged in since they made the changes to being able to get stops in your car. Maybe if I had anyone who also wanted to go out and walk around with me I would be more inclined but the fact I cant grab the few stops that I pass each day at slow speeds to keep up with pokeballs killed it for me.

Hating the new Poke Tracker. Find it's much harder to see what's actually near me now, on top of that it apparently only shows things near stops now and not actual Pokemon near you. Saw some people online complaining and showing a screenshot of them next to a Lapras and it not even appearing on their nearby list because they weren't near a stop. Though not sure how much I'd be complaining if I found a Lapras.

Also nest migration last night, time to see what all has changed.

Having ot run through a gym three times to spar it from 6000 to 8000 is a bit of a drag.

Rumors swirling about a Christmas event, which will be similar to the Thanksgiving event, but will also introduce 100 new Pokemon. Also rumored that all Starbucks will become stops/gyms as early as tomorrow, and that the new Pokemon might be introduced tomorrow as well...

Yeah some speculation the Starbucks event will include getting a free drink from the stop and after redeeming it you might get a new Pokemon.

So we might see the first new one as early as tomorrow and then the rest for Christmas.

Wouldn't be surprised if Christmas was a combination of Halloween+Thanksgiving so we can candy+dust+XP, but all speculation.

Christmas announcement seems to be:

1. Togapi and other baby Pokemon now appearing in 5k eggs.
2. Pikachu with santa hats found in the wild.

Very disappointing. At least put the babies in 2k eggs, 5k eggs is just them clearly making people buy incubators.

haven't played since august but i think they said there would be announcement about new pokemon today. the announcement was a togepi you have to hatch and a pikachu with a santa hat.

I don't think they have done anything to kill the game. It was just really popular, ran it's course and it's no longer summer. No one is going to randomly walk around in freezing temps. I still play now and then then but no where near as much as before. My main improvement would be for lures to actually guarantee some good pokemon

Well they promised "some new Pokemon", and technically we have 7 new Pokemon now: Magby(Magmar), Elekid(Electrabuzz), Cleffa(Clefairy), Igglypuff(Jigglypuff), Pichu(Pikachu), Smoochum(Jynx), and Togepi(and his evolution is reportedly available now too).

Sadly they apparently decided to leave the only baby Pokemon I actually wanted out, Tyrogue(Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan).

I think everyone just wanted all 100 to drop in one day, but I imagine they'll roll them out slow and steady. I do wish you could just catch the baby Pokemon instead of having to hatch them, would have been nice to see a nest of one of them when the next migration happens(Thursday).

Cleffa and Igglybuff are 2K
Pichu and Togepi are 5K
Magby, Elekid, and Smoochum are 10K.

Rumor has is that they replace their bigger counterparts, but no one has confirmed yet. (No more Pikachu in 2K???)

their limitations while playing it in the car riding around killed the game for me. I didn't play in the summer when it was hugely popular. I got started with it in early september. First they killed you being able to see pokemon while going faster than a crawl. Then they killed being able to hit pokestops while going faster than a crawl. I would spend most of my playing in my car with my wife and then maybe once a week we would go somewhere walking and play. Now, thats useless
