a friend of mine (and State alum) is offering the kindle version of his book today for $0.99 on Amazon. I think he's only allowed to do that like once a year or something to drive up sales and boost exposure, I'm not really sure but if you like to read or support local arts stuff, check it out.

Also looked at BUYing AN AD but since TWW doesn't have ad sense or whatever anymore...

I'm a fan of Ryan Hill...his early stuff, though, before his prose got too baroque.

[Edited on August 19, 2016 at 4:19 PM. Reason : I helped him move once tho, so I get all his books for free]

I find his work to be Kafka-esque. That said, will we receive signed copies of the kindle version of his book?

If it were a movie it would probably be rated at least PG-13 if not R.

We'll actually be up at Bada or Ruckus tonight if y'all really want to buy a signed hard copy

Regardless, it's about getting the e-book up in the rankings category for visibility. Basically, they peak in the evenings and if he can get it as high as he can by then it will help a lot.

In all fairness, my prose has gotten somewhat baroque as of late. I try to hide it with silly book covers, but I'm only fooling myself.

I'd buy a signed copy but I can't get past his bullshit review of The Drop.

What poor taste.

You seem like the kinda dude that would wear a Pearl Jam t-shirt to a Rolling Stones concert.
